What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is nothing more than being in
a focused state of awareness, that
allows you to change your
perspective on a certain belief,
behavior or feeling., without your
critical thought processes trying to
rationalize change.

Most people think of hypnosis as being
a sleep state but actually
you are fully
aware
of what is being said to you on
a conscious level. It is how the
subconscious mind reacts to
suggestions, that
helps you make
rapid and lasting changes
in your
reality.

Hypnosis will not make you do anything
you do not want to do. People who are
not familiar with the hypnosis process,
expect to be fully controlled by a
hypnotist and are
pleasantly
surprised
after experiencing a first
session that has them
completely
relaxed and refreshed
after they are
done.
In fact, the most common thing I hear
from a client, is the fact that they don't
think they were hypnotized, because
they heard everything I said to them.
It is very satisfying to see a client's
excitement when they experience
change almost "magically" and
automatically over the next few days.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming
(NLP)

NLP is the study of the processes we
use to build our individual models of
reality. It is the study of the structure of
subjective experience.

The NLP models and techniques that
have arisen in the last 20 years or so,
have helped many people overcome
limitations and impoverished views  
that have had negative affects on their
lives. Many times these changes can
occur in such a rapid  way that it has
completely revolutionized the way
hypnotherapists practice.

Emotional Freedom Techniques
(EFT)

EFT is meridian based energy therapy
that can alleviate emotional
attachments to experiences from the
past. It is an excellent therapy for
decreasing or desensitizing emotional
trauma, while remembering these
events, in a very short time. Many
times relief can be gained in just a few
minutes.
Duane practices
hypnotherapy as a
hobby and a desire
to help others
become self
empowered and self
responsible.
